Holiday House La Capannina di Matteo is located a few hundred meters from the ancient Roman road called Via Cassia. You can discover it right outside the center of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, halfway between Florence and Siena, in the heart of Chianti, and surrounded by the famous hills that made Tuscany known all over the world.

The Country House is close to a Romanesque church dating back to the 5th Century and consists of 6 charming holiday apartments with a private pool. Belonging to the Fusi family, La Capannina di Matteo ensures relaxing holidays in Chianti for all its guests. When choosing this accommodation, guests will enjoy a unique holiday in a farmhouse in Tuscany, a few kilometers from the town center, yet surrounded by nature.

Lavender and roses

Nestled in a verdant garden, where the smell of lavender and roses combine to form a delightful and unique fragrance, the holiday house La Capannina di Matteo originated from the restoration of a typical Tuscan villa that was a farmhouse.

There are 6 independent holiday accommodations at the guests’ disposal, 4 in the original hayloft and 2, along with the reception area, in the main Villa. Each accommodation is equipped with all modern comforts: kitchen, oven, dishwasher, and washing machine. It also has a unique view over the hills of Tuscany. Two of the holiday venues are located completely on the ground floor, while the other four homes enjoy two separate floors.
